Responsibilities

  • Perform all types of visual inspection related to PCBs using magnification equipment
  • Read and interpret customer drawings
  • Identify and segregate non-conforming product
  • Perform minor rework and repairs to identified defects
  • Perform final count of acceptable and rejected boards
  • Compare shop traveler quantity to final count and notify supervisor of discrepancies
  • Complete reject report, sign traveler, and input data into final log
  • Obtain final documentation package and move to the shipping department
  • Use calipers, pin gauges, and micrometers
  • Maintain a high attention to detail
  • Follow all departmental process procedures correctly
  • Complete all departmental documentation accurately
  • Complete quality checks when product arrives in and exits the department
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management and cross-train as needed to assist production
  • Comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC:
    • Identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents
    • Recognize Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation
    • Follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL)
    • Understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US
    • Manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to stand for the duration of shift
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, customer specifications, and procedures
  • Basic math, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and computer skills
  • Must possess interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Follow all safety measures
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred
  • Previous PCB experience preferred
