Responsibilities
- Perform all types of visual inspection related to PCBs using magnification equipment
- Read and interpret customer drawings
- Identify and segregate non-conforming product
- Perform minor rework and repairs to identified defects
- Perform final count of acceptable and rejected boards
- Compare shop traveler quantity to final count and notify supervisor of discrepancies
- Complete reject report, sign traveler, and input data into final log
- Obtain final documentation package and move to the shipping department
- Use calipers, pin gauges, and micrometers
- Maintain a high attention to detail
- Follow all departmental process procedures correctly
- Complete all departmental documentation accurately
- Complete quality checks when product arrives in and exits the department
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management and cross-train as needed to assist production
- Comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC:
- Identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents
- Recognize Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation
- Follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL)
- Understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US
- Manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Ability to stand for the duration of shift
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, customer specifications, and procedures
- Basic math, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and computer skills
- Must possess interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Follow all safety measures
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Previous PCB experience preferred
