1st Shift Cook - Weekends

About the role

Bridgeway Park Blissfield Senior Living Facility is looking for a part-time weekend Cook to play a crucial role in making a positive impact on the well-being of our beloved seniors. Your culinary skills will enhance their overall living experience.

Responsibilities

• Prep and prepare meals for residents using standardized recipes
• Plan menus
• Cook entire meals in larger quantities (20+ meals)
• Serve meals safely (ServSafe certification preferred, but not required)
• Assist in clean up
• Manage inventory
• Follow directions and maintain food safety standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience cooking for groups (20+ meals)
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work as a team
• Able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
• Dependable, reliable, and punctual for every shift
• Good problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Caring, compassionate, and willing to learn
