About the role
In this role you will inspect and operate specialized logistics equipment. You will work from a variety of source documents to verify part numbers, part locations and quantities. In addition to counting parts and filling orders, this position requires first line, basic quality assessment of parts for damage and defects.
Responsibilities
- Assigned to specialized equipment: i.e. Reach Trucks, Order Pickers, Turret Trucks
- Consistently meet equipment-specific efficiency targets
- Utilize and inspect heavy equipment including sit down fork truck, pallet jack and overhead hoists
- Perform material handling and warehousing functions, order filling, processing, storing/picking of parts, materials, equipment and supplies
- Operate automated packaging equipment, shipping and receiving
- Multiple systems interactions
- Interaction with carrier drivers
- Adhere to all facility safety policies and procedures
- Use machines for weighing, banding, wrapping, packaging, stenciling, etc.
- Operate electronic hardware to receive material into inventory, including iPads
- Perform 5S/housekeeping functions as required
Essential Job Functions
- Frequently lift parts up to 35 pounds individually or 70 pounds as a team lift
- Frequently bend, reach and squat while performing tasks
- Consistent usage of required PPE for task being performed
- Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures
- Frequently work at heights of up to 30 feet from the floor
- Must be able to cross reference material to documentation for verification
- Must be able to work overtime when required
Requirements
- Previous work or volunteer experience
- Basic computer experience
- Must be able to work at heights of up to 30 feet from the floor
Qualifications
Top candidates will also have:
- Experience with the operation of specialized logistics equipment such as reach truck, order picker, and turret truck
- Previous distribution center, warehouse, and/or order filling experience
- Experience working with written instructions for a given task such as Standard Work or Standard Operating Procedures

Pay
Starting pay rate: $18.35/hour. Pay range: $18.35 - $23.85. Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance, and experience.
Schedule
Work location: Booneville, MS (Prentiss facility). 1st shift, Monday-Thursday, 5am-3pm (plus overtime according to business need). Overtime is required depending on business need and could be mandatory or voluntary, occurring during the week and/or on weekends.
