1st Shift 12 Hour Cereal Process Operator (Wet Tower)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work independently to communicate with previous crews, prepare CHE (Cereal Hydrolysis Enzymatically), Wet Slurry and Ingredient HALB preparation.
• Check production schedule specifications and verify raw material ingredients.
• Support Flour Tipping operations by monitoring inventory levels and minor ingredients.
• Support sheeting of dried cereal from drum, adjust operational parameters, and maintain communication with Drier Operators.
• Show new hires or trainees the duties of the job and assist in developing initial training documents.
• Maintain documentation and checks, including verifying Chart Recorder Function, MES & Quality checks, technical run parameters, and documenting all down time.
• Maintain close attention to detail, ensuring the clearing out of product in Wet Tower, Roller Drier Room, and Dry Tower.
• Maintain housekeeping, zoning requirements, and adhere to a 5S standard in designated areas.
• Perform job-specific checks and paperwork, perform CIP’s, and support additional duties as assigned.
• Support and comply with all Nestlé programs and policies, including NQMS (Nestle Quality Management System) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization) standards.

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL

• Ability to work independently, plan, originate, and adapt to accomplish tasks involving communication with previous crews, preparation of CHE (Cereal Hydrolysis Enzymatically), Wet Slurry, and Ingredient HALB preparation, checking production schedule specifications, and verifying raw material ingredients.
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.
