Spruce Mtn School District - RSU #73 Proudly Serving - Jay, Livermore, and Livermore Falls 1st Grade Teacher : Long Term Substitute Spruce Mountain Primary School Description Spruce Mountain Primary School is looking for a long term substitute to cover a first grade class for a 12 week period beginning approximately after Thanksgiving break, if not before. The substitute teacher will need to be readily available to: Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with grade level curriculum and learning standards. Establish and maintain a positive, structured classroom environment that supports academic, social, and emotional growth.Build strong, supportive relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students.Implement classroom routines, schoolwide expectations, and positive behavior supports. Collaborate with grade level colleagues, educational technicians, and other school personnel to support student success. Maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment for every child. Teaching certification is also preferred, but not required.
