About the role
Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy seeks a Co-Teacher to work in partnership with a certified lead classroom teacher in 1st Grade.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the lead teacher to plan and implement lessons
- Support students in achieving academic goals
- Assist in managing the classroom environment
- Participate in professional development activities
Requirements
- Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree related to Early Childhood and/or Elementary Education is considered an asset
- Experience working with young children in a school setting is preferred
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Passion for teaching and supporting young learners
