1st and 3rd shift Home Health Aide

About the role

AdvisaCare is seeking dedicated Home Health Aides for private duty in-home care in the Irons, MI area and surrounding communities. This role focuses on one-on-one client care — no crowded facilities, no juggling multiple patients. You’ll have the time to truly connect with your client and provide customized care that honors their preferences, choices, abilities, and specific needs.

Top-of-the-line pay rates are offered for caregivers who believe each patient is unique and strive to deliver the right care for each individual.

Responsibilities

• Assisting client with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Transfers (client is able to pivot transfer)
• Positioning
• Bathing as needed
• Catheter care
• Accompanying client to appointments as needed
• Light housekeeping: changing sheets, sweeping, mopping, etc.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work independently with integrity
• Good communication skills
• Ability to travel within the service area
• CPR certified
• Ability to pass a drug screen and clear a background check

Schedule

• 1st and 3rd shifts available
• 12-hour shifts
• Part-time and PRN positions available
