About the role

Maintains cleanliness of operations work areas in keeping with sanitation, quality and safety guidelines. Located in Mocksville, NC. Reports to Production Supervisor. Full‑time position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain multiple hygiene areas for employees, including boot dips, hand wash stations, and hand sanitizing stations, including chemical balance and soap and sanitizer levels.
• Monitor production area for unsanitary conditions, taking appropriate action to correct deficiencies, such as picking up trash and taking it to the inedible dock, sanitizing door handles and pull cords, and keeping work areas and major walkways clear and free from any hazards as a result of unsanitary conditions.
• Operate riding floor scrubber as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Complete required safety training (Powered Industrial Trucks, Chemical Safety, Hazard Communication, etc.).
• Able to stand, walk, bend, lift and twist up to 8 hours per day.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, lift and twist up to 10 hours per day.
• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.
• Previous food processing/manufacturing experience a plus.
• Successful completion of a pre‑employment drug test and background check required.

Pay

$21.56 hourly

Schedule

6:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, with availability to work Fridays and overtime.
