We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to support enterprise IT for our War-fighter customer in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Shape the future of secure software delivery by integrating emerging technologies, scaling AWS-based CI/CD platforms, and optimizing deployment workflows.
- Pipeline & Automation Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain secure DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and continuous automation initiatives.
- Containerization & Cloud Management: Develop and sustain containerized operational environments using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, and EKS.
- Operations & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues involving container images, artifact repositories, SSL/TLS certificates, cloud services, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Tooling & Platform Enhancement: Automate platform features, resolve system defects, and continuously improve pipeline tooling infrastructure.
- Quality & Validation: Execute regression testing and validation for platform, infrastructure, and pipeline updates.
- Stakeholder Enablement: Deliver technical support, hands-on training, system demonstrations, and actionable guidance to internal and external project teams.
- Documentation & Governance: Author comprehensive technical documentation, user guides, test plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to enforce secure software delivery and advance modernization goals.

Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with a proven track record of implementing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, specifically Amazon ECS and EKS, alongside Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in at least one modern language: Python, Java, JavaScript (Node.js), or .NET.
- Experience with Git, GitLab, and the Atlassian suite (Jira/Confluence).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience creating user guides, test plans, technical briefings, and training sessions.
Qualifications
- BS or BA Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology. Allowable substitution: 12+ years of related experience with an AA/AS Degree OR 14+ years of related experience with a HS Diploma/GED.
- CompTIA Security+ CE certification.
- Active Top Secret/SSBI Security Clearance OR Active Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SSBI.
Desired Skills
- Experience with specialized tooling: GitLab Ultimate, Sonatype Nexus, Prisma Cloud (Twistlock), and tracking DORA metrics.
- Experience with Red Hat OpenShift.
- Experience supporting software development or DevSecOps within a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
