1847 - Application & System Administrator - Hybrid - Active or Interim Top Secret Required - Bonus Eligible

Seeking a highly motivated and driven Application & System Administrator to work 3 days per week onsite supporting enterprise IT for a defense customer.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation, integration, security hardening, and sustainment of complex software applications across enterprise Windows systems and AWS GovCloud environments.
• Enterprise Application Support: Install, integrate, configure, test, and troubleshoot enterprise software applications on Windows systems, including Microsoft Office suite, Java JRE, Visual Studio, and Raytheon EAGLE.
• Cloud Operations: Perform day-to-day operations, sustainment, and administration of AWS Cloud-native services, with a focus on AWS GovCloud environments.
• Systems Hardening & Compliance: Implement and maintain DISA STIG compliance across enterprise applications and host environments to ensure continuous cybersecurity posture.
• Tier 2/3 Technical Support: Resolve complex software issues submitted via the enterprise ticketing system, serving as a primary point of contact for application owners, developers, and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of proven hands-on experience in application administration, installation, and troubleshooting on Windows-based systems.
• Experience with large-scale or high-complexity application deployment is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated AWS Cloud experience and solid foundational knowledge of AWS native services, with preferred experience supporting AWS GovCloud.
• In-depth understanding and practical experience in implementing DISA STIGs on systems and software.
• Active or ‘Interim’ Top Secret/SSBI Security Clearance OR Active Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS w/SSBI.
• BS or BA Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology. Allowable substitution: AS or AA Degree with 8+ years of technical experience OR HS Diploma with 9+ years of related technical experience.
