#1756 | Helper/Laborer 1 - 1st Shift

About the Role

The Helper/Laborer supports the plating process by preparing and handling parts, ensuring they are ready for production and shipping while adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Places parts on and off racks as needed.
• Performs bending of aluminum wires on racks to ensure parts are secure and adequately placed.
• Tightens bolts and screws with equipment and tools on saddle racks to ensure security.
• May assist the Plater in cleaning tanks.
• Performs visual inspection of parts to ensure no over-plating.
• Uses air hose to dry parts upon completion of the plating cycle.
• Prepares and packages parts for shipping.
• Adheres to safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Comfortable using basic tools (e.g., wire cutters and air hose).
• Comfortable working on a platform with tanks of acid and chemicals.
• Ability to pay attention to detail and follow precise instructions.
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident) due to ITAR regulations.

Physical Demands

• Walking/standing for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to wear a respirator.
• Moderate pushing and pulling.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Exposure to heat, noise, and chemical fumes in production areas.
• Good hand-eye coordination and movement.
