Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a network engineer within the DoW environment
- Experience Substitution: 1 academic year at an accredited college or university in an accredited preferred degree related post-secondary program for 1 year of experience
- Army/DoW experience in integration, vehicle integration, and vehicle maintenance programs is preferred
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Personnel Clearance Level: Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher (clearance will not be sponsored)
- Education Requirements: High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required
Essential Job Duties
- Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations
- Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
- Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
- Monitor network engineering performance and ensure system availability and reliability
Pay
$90,000 - $130,000 annually.
