Sigma Defense is seeking an Information Security Analyst to support the Army’s Network Modernization & Mission Network Technical Service Support program (NetMod). NetMod provides product technical support services for systems and equipment produced, fielded, modified, or supported by PdM Network Modernization (NetMod) and PdM Mission Network under the Project Manager (PM) Tactical Network (TN) within the Program Executive Office for Command Control and Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T). This role may also include support for future systems and equipment acquired to maintain the Army’s technological advantage.
Responsibilities
- Provide network environment and advanced-level computing environment support.
- Focus on intrusion detection, identifying and fixing unprotected vulnerabilities, and securing remote access points.
- Collect and analyze data from Computer Network Defense (CND) tools, including intrusion detection system alerts, firewall and network traffic logs, and host system logs.
- Apply analytical skills to assess compliance with non-technical controls such as physical security and configuration management.
- Perform audit functions for the Agent of the Certification Authority (ACA) or other government Information Assurance (IA) Managers to mitigate risks and generate reports for certification and accreditation packages or Certification of Networthiness efforts.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and incident responses.
- Actively monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and potential security breaches.
- Identify weaknesses in systems and applications to proactively address security risks.
- Frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, including delivering presentations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- 3+ years in the Department of Defense contracting market, specifically in major weapon systems product development and acquisitions.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance tools such as STIG Viewer and eMASS.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and occasionally move about the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Information Security or a related field. Formal education may be waived on a case-by-case basis depending on certifications and relevant work/military experience.
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher. A clearance will not be sponsored.

Pay
$85,000 - $101,000 annually.
