About the Role

Resicum International LLC is seeking an experienced 15Y Aircraft Electronics & Armament Advisor to support current and future Training Assistance Field Team (TAFT) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs worldwide. The advisor serves as a senior aviation maintenance subject matter expert responsible for providing technical advisory support, maintenance instruction, hands-on training, troubleshooting assistance, mentorship, and technical expertise to international military aviation organizations.

The successful candidate will have significant experience as a senior 15Y, aircraft electronics/avionics mechanic, armament technician, crew chief, technical inspector, maintenance supervisor, or equivalent senior-level aviation maintenance professional. The advisor will provide expertise in AH-64/AH-64E aircraft electrical, electronic, avionics, armament, weapons, fire-control, targeting, and associated systems. Previous SATMO/TAFT experience and aviation maintenance instructional experience are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior Aircraft Electronics & Armament Advisor to international military aviation personnel.
• Provide classroom and hands-on instruction covering aircraft electrical, electronic, avionics, armament, weapons, and associated systems.
• Provide technical expertise regarding AH-64/AH-64E electronics, avionics, armament, and weapons systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, avionics, armament, weapons, fire-control, and associated aircraft systems.
• Assist partner-nation personnel with fault isolation and corrective maintenance.
• Assist with component removal, installation, adjustment, testing, and functional checks.
• Provide technical guidance regarding aircraft wiring, connectors, electrical interfaces, electronic components, and associated systems.
• Provide technical guidance on aircraft armament and weapons systems maintenance and inspection.
• Assist with gun system maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and functional checks as applicable.
• Provide technical guidance on applicable missile, rocket, weapon-interface, and associated armament systems.
• Provide instruction on weapons-system safety and applicable maintenance procedures.
• Interpret and apply U.S. Army aviation technical manuals, maintenance publications, wiring diagrams, schematics, engineering instructions, and other technical data.
• Provide instruction on aircraft maintenance documentation, forms, records, inspection documentation, and technical reporting.
• Advise maintenance leadership on aircraft electronics, avionics, armament, and weapons-system readiness.
• Mentor aircraft electronics technicians, 15Y personnel, armament personnel, avionics personnel, crew chiefs, technical inspectors, and maintenance supervisors.
• Support maintenance qualification, progression, continuation training, and remediation.
• Develop and deliver classroom, practical, and hands-on maintenance training.
• Evaluate trainee performance and provide technical feedback.
• Assist with the development of lesson plans, presentations, training materials, and technical training programs.
• Identify electronics, avionics, armament, and weapons-system training deficiencies and provide corrective instruction.
• Provide guidance on aviation safety, weapons safety, FOD prevention, tool control, hazardous materials, electrical safety, and risk management.
• Provide technical guidance regarding specialized test equipment, avionics equipment, armament tools, weapons-support equipment, and maintenance equipment.
• Assist with aircraft inspections, maintenance evaluations, component evaluations, and readiness assessments.
• Support aircraft fielding, acceptance, modification, modernization, and sustainment activities as required.
• Promote U.S. Army aviation maintenance standards, quality-control practices, weapons safety, and technical compliance.
• Work effectively with international military personnel and U.S. Government representatives.
• Perform other aviation electronics and armament advisory duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Former U.S. Army 15Y AH-64 Armament/Electrical/Avionics Repairer or equivalent U.S. military aviation electronics, avionics, or armament maintenance professional.
• Significant military aircraft electronics, avionics, armament, or weapons maintenance experience.
• Senior mechanic, senior technician, crew chief, technical inspector, maintenance supervisor, or equivalent senior-level experience.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting, inspecting, servicing, repairing, removing, installing, and testing aircraft electrical, electronic, avionics, armament, or weapons components.
• Experience troubleshooting aircraft electrical and electronic systems using approved test equipment.
• Experience with aircraft armament and/or weapons systems maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of military aviation maintenance procedures and technical publications.
• Experience interpreting and applying U.S. military technical manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and maintenance publications.
• Experience with aircraft maintenance documentation, forms, records, inspections, and technical reporting.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-isolation skills.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior maintenance personnel.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to personnel with varying levels of experience.
• Ability to instruct and mentor international military aviation personnel.
• Ability to work independently as a trusted technical advisor.
• Ability to work effectively in international and cross-cultural environments.
• Valid U.S. Passport is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required visas, country clearances, immunizations, and deployment documentation.
• Willingness and ability to deploy worldwide and work internationally for extended periods.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance, if applicable to the assigned program.

Qualifications

• Previous SATMO or TAFT experience.
• Previous Foreign Military Sales (FMS) aviation maintenance advisory experience.
• Extensive AH-64/AH-64E electronics, avionics, armament, or weapons maintenance experience.
• Previous experience as a senior 15Y, senior mechanic, crew chief, technical inspector, maintenance supervisor, or maintenance team leader.
• Previous instructor, instructor/trainer, senior instructor, or aviation maintenance training experience.
• Experience developing and delivering classroom and hands-on maintenance training.
• Experience evaluating and mentoring military aviation maintenance personnel.
• Experience supporting AVUM, AVIM, depot, field maintenance, or equivalent maintenance environments.
• Experience with AH-64 weapons and armament systems.
• Experience with fire-control and targeting systems.
• Experience with aircraft electrical and avionics troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting aircraft fielding, modernization, modification, or sustainment programs.
• Experience with aviation maintenance readiness reporting and production management.
• Experience with aviation maintenance quality control and inspection programs.
• Previous overseas or international military aviation experience.
• Graduate of applicable U.S. Army aviation maintenance, technical inspector, instructor, or maintenance management courses.
