1507 - Ballistic Missile Defense Operations & Training Expert
Sigma Defense is seeking a BMD Tactical Operations expert to join the Tactical Training Group Pacific (TTGP) team as a BMD Tactical Operations Subject Matter Expert. We need the rare skill sets developed through your Naval career to assist the TTGP Staff in executing their mission of providing advanced tactical training to deploying ships and strike groups through Fleet Synthetic Training (FST). About the role
Join an exceptional team of Technical Managers, Subject Matter Experts, Equipment Technicians, and Equipment Operators in the configuration and operation of the Fleet Battle Lab and Modeling & Simulation Control Centers. Responsibilities include Synthetic Training Event Planning, Integration and Execution; BMD Systems and Training Support; Tactical Data Management Support; and Executive Agent Support.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience conducting shipboard BMD watch-team training or recent experience conducting BMD exercises, training, or operations
- Attained Aegis BMD Watch Officer qualification
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active TS/SCI security clearance (clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate)
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in an unspecified field of study
Responsibilities
- Work on-site at TTGP during BMD events (BMDEXs, FST, and LVC events)
- Provide mentorship onboard/pier side during events
- Serve as classroom instructor for BMD courses held by TTGP
Pay
$110,000 - $130,000 annually
