13B Cannon Crewmember - Weapons Systems Technician

Job Duties

• Carry out wire and radio communications
• Determine target locations
• Load and fire artillery
• Create fire direction data using computers
• Maintain communication with heavy and light wheeled vehicles and tracked vehicles
• Manage transportation and storage of artillery ammunition
• Ensure readiness of vehicles and equipment
• Participate in reconnaissance missions

Requirements

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
• At least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or GED certificate
• Between the ages of 17 and 35
• Pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
