About the role
New England Wrecker Sales is hiring a 12V Wiring Technician to build trucks that keep New England moving. This is hands-on work involving wiring strobe lighting, brake controllers, and emergency systems on wreckers and truck bodies.
Responsibilities
- Install strobe lighting, taillights, brake controllers, and other aftermarket parts on trucks and truck bodies
- Fit and assemble components such as lighting mounts and support brackets using hand tools and portable power tools (plasma cutter, drills, band saw, welder)
- Read and work from electrical diagrams to wire systems correctly the first time
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems when they arise
- Build it clean — your work is what the customer sees and trusts
Requirements
- Experience with 12V electrical wiring — auto, coachbuilding, car audio/stereo install, or emergency lighting all translate well
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license
- Experience with diesel and gas automotive electrical systems is a plus

Pay
$25 – $40 per hour
Schedule
This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position, working between 7AM and 5PM. No nights, no weekends — a real schedule. Availability for Overtime as requested (once trained).
