Responsibilities

• Aid the Fresh Deli Department Team Lead in all department tasks.
• Engage in daily customer interactions, including preparation of food such as slicing meats, preparing sandwiches, and cooking fresh offerings.
• Share food knowledge with customers and Team Members.
• Lead, train, coach, and communicate with all Team Members in their department.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards.
• Manage day-to-day production, merchandising, and quality control of all department offerings.
• Drive department sales and manage labor and productivity.

Qualifications

• Customer service-oriented with a friendly demeanor.
• Interest in food and cooking is a plus.
• Exceptional leadership skills and strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Experience in customer service, restaurant, barista, food service, or similar roles is desired.
• Self-motivated with a high attention to detail, quality, and presentation.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow verbal and written directions.
• Reliable to meet required work schedule and adhere to company attendance policy.
