12-Month Intern- Pilot

A Day in the Life

As a Quality and Pilot Intern in our Operations team in Clark, NJ, you will report to the Process Expert and play a key role in bringing innovative beauty products to life. You'll be at the heart of our CIQ Pilot Plant, where new ideas become reality.

Main Responsibilities

• Drive Innovation Projects: Execute simulation projects by defining scope, inputs, and outputs in collaboration with various teams.
• Enhance Our Processes: Refine the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) workflow and help build our internal expertise in this cutting-edge area.
• Validate New Technology: Assist in the implementation and validation of new and existing equipment, ensuring they meet L'Oréal's high standards.
• Communicate for Success: Clearly report on project status, results, and any challenges to both support teams and management, ensuring smooth project progression.

We Are Looking For

An engineering student with a strong analytical mindset and a curiosity for the beauty industry. An ideal candidate for this role is someone who can work independently while collaborating effectively in a team. You should have:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• A strong interest in Fluid Dynamics; experience with CAD or CFD software is a plus.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to see tasks through from start to finish.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work with diverse stakeholders.
• A problem-solving mindset to tackle technical challenges with creativity.
