12 Hour Shift Caregiver (Phoenixville) - $16 per hr

River Oaks Homecare has been a leader in the industry for 10 years and is expanding, looking for dedicated Caregivers to join our brand-new residential home in Norristown, PA.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personalized Daily Support: Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their comfort and dignity are always a priority.
• Create Sensory-Friendly Environments: Implement routines that support individuals with unique sensory processing needs, ensuring a calm and structured living space.
• Behavioral & Emotional Support: Use patient, positive redirection, and communication techniques to support residents through various behavioral challenges and emotional regulation.
• Meal Preparation & Nutrition: Prepare healthy meals and snacks tailored to specific dietary requirements or textures, assisting with feeding as needed.
• Light Housekeeping & Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment to reduce overstimulation and ensure safety.
• Community & Companionship: Foster a supportive atmosphere through engaging activities, errands, and social interaction that honors each resident's unique personality.
• Drive residents in a company-provided vehicle to community events and doctor's appointments.
• Health Advocacy: Provide vital medication reminders and closely monitor health or behavioral changes to ensure the highest quality of care.

Requirements

• Heart for Service: Compassionate, respectful, and ethical.
• Experience: Previous caregiving, CNA, or HHA residential experience is a plus.
• Skills: Basic cooking and housekeeping knowledge.
• Essentials: Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the US. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred (but we can help you get it!).

Schedule

We are currently hiring for 12-hour daily shifts (3-4 days a week), perfect for those who want a consistent, stable routine in a beautiful residential setting.
