About the role

Home Helpers Home Care of Sarasota seeks a compassionate and dependable caregiver for a 12‑hour daytime shift providing personalized, one‑on‑one care to a senior in their home. The position offers steady daytime hours, training and development, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference.

Responsibilities

• Personal care assistance
• Bathing and toileting assistance
• Companionship
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Transportation
• Following individualized plans of care
• Communicating professionally with clients, families, and the office team
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience preferred
• Experienced caregivers with or without CNA/HHA certification encouraged to apply
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
• Clean Driving Record
• Access to email and a smartphone
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional
• Able to commit to a 12‑hour daytime schedule
