Position Details

• Course Type: General
• Format: One-to-one (2 students back-to-back lessons)
• Total Hours: 30
• Session Length: 1.5 hours per session, 45 minutes each
• Location: Client's home in Yonkers, 10580
• Students' Level: Lower intermediate/intermediate
• Students' Ages: 17 and 10 yo
• Schedule: Wednesday or Thursday, after school between 3 and 7 pm
• Start Date: Early September

Motivation

We lived for 1 yr in Brazil and now are back in the US. I want them to continue the conversational Portuguese they learn.

Ideal Candidate

• Be a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
• Have a valid work permit/visa
• Live within 20 miles of the specified location

Conditions

• Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability
• Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
• Freelance, part-time position
• We are not able to sponsor visas
