1107-Housekeeper

About the role

The Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning equipment, walls, floors and pipes, either by hand or using scrubbers and high-pressure cleaning equipment. In this role you will also sanitize, disassemble and re-assemble equipment, do general housekeeping. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Ability to safely operate floor scrubbers and high-pressure cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of safe chemical usage and transportation.
• Must comply with the requirements defined within the contents of the GMP’S, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), LOTO procedures, and foods safety programs established by Bay Valley Foods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with GMP’S, HACCP, LOTO procedures, and foods safety programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

This is a full-time position on 2nd shift working Thursday through Monday with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. 2nd shift operates 4pm to 12am Shift differential included for 2nd and 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written.
• Experience with operating a sit-down forklift.
• The ability to work overtime and weekends.

Pay

Shift differential included for 2nd and 3rd shift.
