1099 Medical Director, Long Term Care

About the Role

As a Medical Director for Access Medical Clinics (AMC), you will provide clinical leadership and oversight for medical care services within the long-term care facility. The Medical Director collaborates with administration, nursing leadership, and attending providers to ensure delivery of high-quality, compliant, and patient-centered care consistent with federal and state regulations.

Compensation

Compensation for this role will include a monthly stipend plus a pay-per-visit model.

Requirements

• MD or DO with active state medical license
• Board certification in geriatric, family, or internal medicine
• Experience in geriatrics, post-acute, or long-term care
• Knowledge of CMS and LTC regulatory requirements

Schedule

• 4 hours per month per facility for administrative duties
• On-site presence once weekly for rounding on acute care and long-term care patients (approximately 2 hours per week)
• Participation in QAPI and leadership meetings
• Availability for consultation
