About the role

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing and developing the team, ensuring optimal customer experiences, and maintaining brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Brands: Supervise and support associates in achieving daily goals and activities to maximize sales and customer loyalty. Ensure all brand standards are met.

• People: Engage, train, and develop the team to achieve positive results. Manage team accountability and maintain positive relationships.

• Operations: Ensure compliance with company processes, utilize digital strategies, manage inventory, and schedule appropriately.

• Safety/Loss Prevention: Ensure store safety, protect company assets, and comply with HAZMAT training and execution.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 18 years of age

• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred

• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred

• Ability to lead or support a team of associates

• Effective communication skills

• Scheduling availability to meet business needs

• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
