About the role

Join Sally Beauty, the largest hair and beauty supplier in the world, and help empower customers to express themselves through hair. As a Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor, you’ll create memorable shopping experiences by assisting customers with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, nails, and more. Sally Beauty provides extensive product knowledge training—you bring the passion and personality.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire customer loyalty.
• Recommend complementary products and inform customers of promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales.
• Enroll customers in the Loyalty program and complete transactions accurately.
• Maintain a professional store environment and report inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty’s Culture Values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1+ years of retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Available to meet scheduling needs of the business.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Apply product knowledge from training to assist customers.
• Read and explain product labels.
• Follow directions and perform additional duties as assigned.
• Lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• Tolerate exposure to fumes, odors, and irritant chemicals occasionally.

Physical requirements include long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, and recurring lifting of moderately heavy items. The role may involve working around moving parts, carts, or machines.
