About the role

We are seeking meticulous and proactive Tax Quality Analysts to join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering top-tier tax solutions. This fully remote position offers an opportunity to leverage your QA expertise in testing complex tax forms within industry-leading software, playing a vital role in enhancing tax filing accuracy and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute reusable pseudo tax returns to streamline testing processes.
• Verify rollover functionality to ensure previous year's tax data transfers correctly.
• Test and confirm all fixed defects are functioning properly.
• Ensure tax forms calculate accurately according to official instructions.
• Identify, document, and report bugs or discrepancies encountered during testing.
• Re-test forms post-correction to validate defect resolutions.
• Manage testing statuses across multiple forms, maintaining organization and efficiency.
• Collaborate effectively with development teams and communicate findings clearly in a team environment.

Requirements

• Strong desire to excel in a Quality Assurance role with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
• Demonstrated strong math skills and excellent reading comprehension.
• Ability to interpret reference materials accurately.
• Detail-oriented mindset with solid analytical capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective decision-making skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in QA, tax preparation, or related fields.
• Prior experience in a software testing environment is advantageous.
• Prior experience in tax preparation, tax development, or tax QA (nice to have).
• Knowledge of tax software such as TaxWise or ATX (nice to have).

Other Requirements

• Candidate submissions should be limited to three per position.
• Successful candidates must pass standard computer literacy and reading comprehension tests, with scores noted on the resume.

Pay

$35/hr.
