100% Remote Evening Radiologist, 7-On / 7-Off

About the role

Carilion Clinic is seeking a BC/BE Radiologist to join our practice as a 100% remote evening Radiologist. The practice is expanding with a $400 million tower opened in 2025 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, a $150 million cancer center slated to open January 2028, an 80,000 sq ft outpatient pediatric clinic opened in 2021, and a 37,000 sq ft mental health clinic opened in 2023. Carilion has state certificate of public need approval to install five new CT scanners and one new MRI scanner, and imaging volume continues to grow year‑over‑year.

Responsibilities

• Work evening shifts from 4 PM to midnight Eastern Time, seven (7) evenings on – seven (7) evenings off.
• Read emergency department and inpatient cases, including a busy level 1 trauma center and thrombectomy‑capable stroke center.
• Utilize SECTRA PACS, Powerscribe 360 reporting, EPIC EMR, and Syngo.Via/TeraRecon Advanced Visualization.
• Receive a full diagnostic workstation with a diagnostic BARCO monitor, 24‑hour IT support, and day/evening Reading Room Assistant assistance for troubleshooting and contacting referring providers.

Requirements

• Completion of an ACGME‑accredited Radiology residency and board‑certified/board‑eligible (BC/BE) status.
