About the role

The Department of Radiology & Radiological Science at the Medical University of South Carolina seeks a full-time, Breast Imaging Radiologist to join its Midlands Division Radiology Group based in Columbia, Northeast Columbia, and Camden, South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Full-time onsite position Monday – Friday – 8 AM – 5 PM No Weekends No Call
• Candidate should have a strong foundation in all aspects of breast imaging including screening and diagnostic mammography, MRI, biopsies and localizations
• Must be BC or BE and be MQSA certified and have completed a one-year fellowship in Breast Imaging
• Great mix of screening and diagnostic mammography. All units are tomosynthesis.
• Perform image guided biopsies including ultrasound, MRI, stereotactic, and localization procedures.
• Work with state-of-the-art equipment
• Staff are well-established, collaborative and dedicated to the hospital and communities
• Supported by a premier cancer institute, the radiologists enjoy excellent professional relationships with dedicated breast sub-specialists in Breast Medical Oncology, Breast Genetics, Breast Surgical Oncology, Breast Radiation, Breast Pathology, Breast Surgery, and Plastic/Reconstructive Surgery.
• Weekly dedicated Breast Tumor Boards serve as working conferences to deliver the highest quality medicine to each patient in a considerate, caring, and timely manner.
