10 - Technical Lead, IT Solutions

General Overview

The SAM WM/MM technical lead/architect will provide business, process and technical expertise in the area for SAP WM/MM and deliver IT solutions in the SAP WM/MM domain.

Detailed Description

• Analyze business requirements and map them to SAP best practice business processes and data models to meet client needs effectively.
• Oversee and execute technical execution of solutions including requirements gathering, blueprinting, development, and deployment.
• Configure SAP systems to meet business requirements and collaborate with other teams for object development and testing.
• Design and develop test plans for unit, integration, system, data conversion, acceptance testing, and coordinate project task execution with other teams.
• Coordinate knowledge transfer and training of users.
• Perform production support activities at second and third levels (e.g., break/fix, troubleshooting).

Physical Demands

• Normal office environment.
• Extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration.
• Frequent repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.).
• Flexible hours expected (e.g., night conferences).

Typical Experience

• 7 to 10 years of experience.
• Experience in a discrete manufacturing environment.
• 10 years experience as a Senior level MM/WM role with a minimum 5 years prior SAP MM/WM consulting.
• Led 5 full lifecycle SAP implementations.

Typical Education

• Bachelor's Degree.
