10 Month Safety and Security Officer 1.0 FTE

The Safety & Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe learning environment at Mountain Pointe High School.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure campus environment
• Respond to emergencies and incidents
• Enforce school policies and procedures
• Interact with students, staff, and visitors

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to perform essential functions of the position
• Pass physical performance test
• Previous experience with high school age students preferred
• Possess knowledge of adolescent psychology preferred
• Minimum of three years of experience in security, law enforcement or related activity preferred

Qualifications

• Must pass components of physical performance test
• Previous experience with high school age students preferred
• Possess knowledge of adolescent psychology preferred
