Maintenance Position

Hood Packaging Corporation is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Position at our Wilmington, OH facility.

• Ensure plant equipment, building and grounds are maintained to meet production standards and comply with housekeeping and safety regulations.

Functional Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot all plant equipment, building and grounds
• Observe mechanical parts in operation; examine, repair, or replace defective parts; adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments
• Lubricate and clean parts
• Set up and operate lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make or repair parts
• Perform routine maintenance
• May initiate purchase order for parts and machines
• Keep work area clean and free of debris
• Assist in ensuring HACCP, GMP’s Work Instructions, and safe quality food system requirements are in compliance

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing environment preferred

Qualifications

• Highly skilled in troubleshooting and repair of plant equipment
• Experience operating various metalworking tools
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

• $18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience
