1 shift Warehouse Associate (Mon-Fri)

About the role

To join Famous Footwear’s Distribution Center in Lebanon, TN as a Warehouse Associate on 1st shift, you'll be responsible for fulfilling customer orders by picking items from designated storage locations according to order specifications. You'll pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Additionally, you'll receive and inspect incoming shipments, collaborate with other warehouse team members, supervisors, and cross-functional teams, and resolve operational challenges to meet customer demands.

Responsibilities

• Order Picking and Packing: Fulfill customer orders by picking items from designated storage locations according to order specifications. Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming shipments, inspect them for accuracy, quality, and damage, and verify that they match the corresponding documentation (such as packing slips or purchase orders).
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other warehouse team members, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow, resolve operational challenges, and meet customer demands.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of previous warehouse experience preferred
• Effective time management skills and positive team player required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without an accommodation required

Pay

Starting pay is determined by several factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. The actual pay rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Schedule

This shift is scheduled for 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, Monday - Friday.
