1 Home Health Aide (HHA or CNA)

About the Role

Giving Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate HHA or CNA in Espanola, NM to administer patient care in accordance with a physician‑established care plan. This 1099 contract position provides care at the patient’s residence, allowing caregivers to build lasting relationships as patients remain in the program indefinitely. The role supports individuals impacted by health conditions related to work in nuclear facilities for the Department of Energy.

Responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one service in the patient’s home, assisting with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Monitor vitals (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) according to the plan of care.
• Remind the patient to take medication as prescribed.
• Maintain records and documentation of services.
• Communicate with the patient’s family, doctors, and other designated individuals regarding health and care.
• Collaborate with CNAs, HHAs, case managers, and physicians.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to monitor vital signs.
• Dependable transportation.
• Current CPR certification.

Offers are contingent upon passing a background check.

Schedule

Shift: 8 pm – 8 am on Fridays (12 hours per week).
