About the role
We are seeking a Janitor/Custodian to help us keep local government locations clean and safe for the community. As a member of our team, you can choose to work within a team setting or individually. This position includes paid training and all necessary tools for you to perform day-to-day general cleaning duties. It offers a flexible start time after 6pm, Monday through Friday, making it an ideal way to earn extra income.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties such as cleaning restrooms, vacuuming carpets, emptying trash, mopping floors, and dusting
- Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition
- Perform routine maintenance tasks
- Organize custodial closets and spaces
- Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a snow-capable vehicle
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
Pay
$22 per hour at 16 hours per week, based on experience and work quality. Compensation is approximate and may vary based on pay period lengths, holidays, etc.
Schedule
Flexible start time after 6pm, Monday through Friday.
