1.20. Project Manager

Role Overview

This position is 100% remote and requires residency in the State of CO to qualify. The client is located in Denver, CO and offers a rate range of $65-$90 per hour (OT $60-$83 W2).

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to defined timelines and within the allocated budget.
• Achieve business and end user consultation and input for the project.
• Assist executive management, division directors, and IT staff in project tasks and resource management.
• Lead project teams using appropriate project management tools, reports, templates, mentoring, training, and coaching.
• Work with agency staff, vendors, and other state agencies to fulfill project requirements.
• Manage by providing leadership, collaboration, supervision, training, guidance, and support to IT project team members.
• Ensure agency compliance with State’s project management policies and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute a change strategy, including stakeholder analysis, communication plans, and adoption plans.
• Manage relationships across OIT, customers, and vendors to understand core business functions and align projects with business objectives.
• Proactively address and resolve issues, demonstrating decision-making, issue management, and resolution skills.

Requirements

• Strong background in project management.
• Experience in Information Technology Infrastructure.
• Experience with Cloud and Cloud Migrations.

Pay

Rates range from $65-$90 per hour (OT $60-$83 W2).

Schedule
