About the role
The Clinton Community School District seeks to hire a dedicated individual to join our team. Located in a picturesque town along the Mississippi River, we offer a supportive environment with access to various recreational opportunities and cultural events.
Responsibilities
- Support the educational, social, and emotional needs of a diverse student population through innovative programs.
- Assist teachers with student loans.
- Ensure all schools are up-to-date with new or renovated facilities, including the ongoing construction of the high school.
- Implement and support the Capturing Kids' Hearts program across PK-12 levels, including Project SEARCH.
- Provide on-site licensed therapists in all schools.
- Offer over 30 college-credit courses and fine arts programs such as orchestra, band, choir, show choir, and drama.
- Lead the district in achieving top rankings, including being ranked among the top 40 on the annual AP Index.
- Coach 50 state championship teams.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in education or related field, with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, is required. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to diversity and inclusion are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a passion for continuous improvement are also valued.
