Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in various settings
• Collaborate with other educators, parents, and administrators to ensure student success
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Illinois teaching license or ability to obtain one within six months
• Experience working with students with special needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal and state special education laws and regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes
