1:1 Resource Instructional Assistant 2026-2027

Overview

1:1 Special Education assistants will support students who receive special education services. Their schedules will be driven by students' needs, which are ever-changing. They will work both in and out of the resource/special education classrooms.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and tutor students with special needs
• Provide small group one on one instruction to students in need
• Respect the individual's right to privacy
• Participate in staff development programs
• Perform other duties assigned by the building principal

Qualifications

• The preferred candidate will have experience working with students with special needs
• The preferred candidate will have a teacher's license
