Responsibilities

• Teach core academic subjects including math, science, social studies, language arts, and electives such as art, music, drama, health, and physical education.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards and curriculum guidelines.
• Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide feedback to improve learning outcomes.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units and share best practices.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Engage with parents and guardians to foster a supportive home-school connection.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
• Valid teaching license in the state of Ohio.
• Experience in teaching grades appropriate to the position.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse student body and staff.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check.
• Preferred candidates will have experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.
