About the role

The Academic Intervention and Mentoring (AIM) program serves as a key Tier 2 support for students with identified skill or academic gaps. The Science Interventionist provides targeted instruction to address these gaps while supporting student access to and understanding of the science curriculum.

Responsibilities

  • Provide targeted instruction to students with identified skill or academic gaps in the science curriculum.
  • Support student access to and understanding of the science curriculum.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure effective intervention and support.

Requirements

  • Bio/Chem endorsement preferred.
  • Bilingual and/or ESL endorsed candidates will be strongly considered.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in education or related field.
  • Experience working with students who have identified skill or academic gaps.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff.
