Responsibilities

  • Implement a school counseling program aligned to the ASCA National Model.
  • Absorb and abide by ASCA Ethical Standards and Professional Standards and Competencies.
  • Conduct regular reviews of school and student data to inform student outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all services provided to students.
  • Evaluate and share the results of the school counseling program's impact and effectiveness.
  • Spend 80% or more of their time providing direct student services and indirect student services.
  • Develop and implement Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 school counseling interventions.
  • Collaborate with key shareholders to support a comprehensive school counseling program and student success.
  • Utilize technology and other virtual tools to support efficient and effective program delivery and communication.
  • Pursue and participate in professional learning to stay current with evidence-based practices in the field.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in School Counseling or closely related field.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a School Counselor in Oregon.
  • Experience working with students in a K-12 setting.
  • Knowledge of the ASCA National Model and ASCA Ethical Standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using technology for counseling services.

Benefits

Pay

Salary range: $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling to accommodate school events and activities.
