About the role
As a Store Manager at CosmoProf, you will lead a team of salon professionals, ensuring they deliver exceptional experiences to customers. Your responsibilities include managing store operations, achieving sales targets, and maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage talent and inspire your team to achieve outstanding results
- Ensure each customer receives an unforgettable experience and a custom-fit solution for their hair and beauty needs
- Oversee all store operations, focusing on maintaining budget, controlling expenses, growing sales, and managing inventory
- Protect customers, associates, and store assets by enforcing safety and security rules and procedures, as well as company policies
- Maintain a visually appealing store environment
Requirements
- At least 3 years of customer service/retail sales experience and 1 year of previous sales management experience
- Previous experience in operational, financial, and performance management
- Self-starter attitude with a drive to continuously learn, develop, and educate store personnel and customers
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Passion for all things hair and beauty
Qualifications
- Cosmetology license is a plus – but not required
- Proven leadership skills and a strong drive to succeed
- Belief in working hard but also having fun
Skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets and control expenses
- Customer service and retail sales experience
- Experience in operational, financial, and performance management
