03866 Assistant Store Manager
About the role
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing and developing a team of associates, ensuring optimal customer experiences, and maintaining brand standards.
Responsibilities
30% Brand: Supervise and direct associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences, maximize sales/KPIs, and drive customer loyalty. Ensure all brand standards are met, including merchandising, POGs, marketing, back rooms, dress code, etc. Resolve customer issues and anticipate customer demands.
30% People: Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve positive results. Recruit and hire associates, identify strengths and opportunities, and coach or counsel as needed. Maintain positive relationships with associates and communicate regularly with the Store Manager.
30% Operations: Ensure compliance with company processes, manage inventory, schedule employees, and follow through on company directives and projects. Utilize digital strategies and tools for fulfillment and reporting.
10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Ensure a safe store environment, enforce policies, and protect company assets. Analyze and utilize available reporting and tools to ensure compliance with HAZMAT training and execution.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be 18 years of age or older
Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred
At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred
Ability to lead or support a team of associates to meet business objectives
Effective communication skills
Scheduling availability to meet business needs
Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
