About the role
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing and developing the store's team, ensuring optimal customer experiences, and maintaining brand standards.
Responsibilities
30% Brand: Supervise and plan associates' daily goals to maximize sales and customer loyalty. Ensure all brand standards are met and resolve customer issues.
30% People: Engage, train, and develop the team to achieve business objectives. Manage team performance, maintain positive relations, and ensure compliance with company policies.
30% Operations: Execute company processes, manage inventory, schedule employees, and ensure adherence to safety and loss prevention protocols.
10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect company assets, and ensure compliance with HAZMAT training and execution.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred
At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred
Ability to lead or support a team of associates
Effective communication skills
Scheduling availability to meet business needs
Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
