About the role

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in overseeing all store operations, ensuring optimal customer experiences, and managing team development.

Responsibilities

• 30% Brand: Supervise associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences, manage brand standards, and resolve customer issues.

• 30% People: Engage, train, and develop teams, recruit new hires, and maintain positive relationships with associates and managers.

• 30% Operations: Ensure compliance with company processes, utilize digital strategies, manage inventory, and handle payroll and scheduling.

• 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect company assets, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 18 years of age

• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience

• Minimum 1+ year(s) prior management experience

• Ability to lead or support a team of associates

• Effective communication skills

• Scheduling availability to meet business needs

• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
