About the Role

As a Store Manager at Sally Beauty, you will lead a team‑oriented, dynamic environment to deliver an unforgettable customer experience. You’ll manage talent, inspire associates, and ensure each customer receives a custom‑fit solution for their hair and beauty needs while overseeing all store operations, budgets, expenses, sales growth, and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop store talent, acting as a coach, role model, and innovator.
• Inspire the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and custom‑fit solutions.
• Ensure the store meets or exceeds sales goals through effective operational oversight.
• Maintain assigned budget, control expenses, and drive sales growth.
• Oversee inventory management and ensure accurate stock levels.
• Enforce safety and security rules, procedures, and company policies to protect customers, associates, and store assets.
• Maintain store appearance and visual standards at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of customer service/retail sales experience.
• At least 1 year of prior sales management experience.
• Experience in operational, financial, and performance management.
• Cosmetology license is a plus (not required).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for hair and beauty.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 lb, occasionally while on a ladder (with or without accommodation).
• Potential exposure to fumes and odors on occasion.
• Long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, and similar activities.
• Frequent lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• Work around moving parts, carts, or machines; occasional exposure to irritant chemicals.
