About the role
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing all aspects of the store, including brand, people, and operations. They ensure that all brand standards are met and that customer experiences are exceptional. They also engage, train, and develop their teams to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities
30% Brand: Supervise and support associates in achieving KPIs and driving customer loyalty. Ensure all brand standards are met and resolve customer issues.
30% People: Manage and develop a team to meet business objectives, coach and counsel associates, and maintain positive relations with Store Manager peers.
30% Operations: Support the execution of company processes, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with HAZMAT training and execution.
10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Ensure the store environment is safe, enforce policies, and protect company assets.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred
At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred
Ability to lead or support a team of associates
Effective communication skills
Scheduling availability to meet business needs
Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
