About the role

The Keyholder operates as a limited Manager on Duty by maintaining the physical security of the store, under direction from the management team. This role maximizes profits and customer service by leading assigned category teams and operating the store in adherence to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate the store as a limited Manager On Duty in conjunction with the management team.
• Maintain the physical security of the assigned store and serve as a key-holding member of management.
• Ensure the highest level of customer service and handle customer complaints to a satisfactory conclusion.
• Maintain category merchandising and cleanliness and ensure operational efficiency.
• Train and develop associates within the category and facilitate cross-training for further development.
• Facilitate effective communication to all store associates through daily briefings and weekly and monthly meetings.
• Drop off bank deposits and pick up change orders as needed.
• Pick up café grocery supplies (milk, baked goods, etc.) as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a supervisor role
• 18 years of age or older
• Successful completion of all background screenings

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to use hands/arms to operate a keyboard and telephone for repetitive motion activities.
• Must be able to lift or team lift objects up to 50 lbs., with or without assistance.
• Must be able to communicate using speech, sight, and sound with or without an assistive device.
• Must be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, or crouch while performing daily activities of the job.
