About the role

As a Sally Beauty Advisor, you’ll focus on one primary objective—creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers. Whether assisting with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, or nails, you’ll be the advisor on our customer’s beauty journey. Sally Beauty provides extensive product knowledge training; you bring your passion and personality.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire customer loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complementary products.
• Inform customers of current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Ensure customers are informed about and enrolled in our Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty Culture Values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Ability to execute knowledge from product training to support customer service.
• Can read and explain product labels.
• Can follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• Long periods of standing, walking, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, or reaching.
• Recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• Working around moving parts, carts, or machines.
• May occasionally be exposed to fumes, odors, or irritant chemicals.
